Jessica Marie Alba, an American actor and businesswoman. Her first appearances on TV and in movies at the age of 13 old in Camp Nowhere (94), after which she became a star at age 19 with the role of lead actress on the television series Dark Angel (2000 - 2002), for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe nominee. Honey (2003) was Honey's breakthrough film. She quickly became a Hollywood star and has starred in many box office hits, including Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Her mother has Danish, Welsh, German, English and French ancestry, while her paternal grandparents who were born in California, were both the children of Mexican immigrants. Joshua is her younger brother. is also hers. Gustavo Arellano (her third cousin) is her father in biological form. Her father was an Air Force pilot who took her family to Biloxi and Del Rio in Texas. Her return to Claremont, California when she was nine years. Alba has described her family as being an "very conservative family - a traditional Catholic, Latin American family" and herself as a liberal. She claims that she was a "feminist" at the age of five.
