 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor as well as a comedian and activist. She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and started her career as an actress when she was a young girl, shortly after moving to the United States. She gained notoriety for her appearances in AT&T commercials on television as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016 and , since then, until in 2020. She was a regular host on Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). In addition, she was a regular series on Yahoo! After being featured in the unaired TV pilot for New Warriors, Vayntrub also plays Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was Jewish and was born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. At the age of 2 she left together with her parents to U.S. to escape antisemitism. She was able to settle in West Hollywood. She started performing in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five due to the financial difficulties of her family. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. She dropped out of school after her sophomore years. She obtained a GED and later was able to earn a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from University of California San Diego. Vayntrub studied improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade.
